5 Actually 6 Players Sent to Pro Bowl!
Despite the losing season the Cowboys had they still had 5 players who were chosen to play in the Pro Bowl on January 30. At the last second there was a 6th player that replaced injured DeSean Jackson. Jason Witten, Mat McBriar, Jay Ratliff, DeMarcus Ware, and Andre Gurode were the 5 guys voted to represent the Dallas Cowboys in the Pro Bowl. Tight end, Jason Witten made his 7th straight appearance in the 2011 Pro Bowl and has never missed one since his rookie season in 2003. Mat McBriar, the punter for the Cowboys, made his 2nd trip to the Pro Bowl. This has been his first trip there since 2006.s Making his 3rd consecutive show in the Pro Bowl was Jay Ratliff, the nose tackle for the Cowboys. DeMarcus Ware, outside linebacker, has made the Pro Bowl 5 consecutive times along with center Andre Gurode. After Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver had to withdraw from the Pro Bowl, Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin replaced him. This is his 2nd straight year to make an appearance in the Pro Bowl. The Cowboys have the athleticism to be a playoff bound team having sent 6 players to the Pro Bowl. Hopefully this upcoming season we can see that happen.
